The Short Version

Your image files never leave your device. Merger JPG processes all photos entirely inside your web browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. No files are ever uploaded to any server. We never see your images, store your images, or share your images — because we never receive them in the first place.

1. Information We Collect

Merger JPG is designed to collect as little information as possible. Here is what we may collect when you visit our website:

  • Usage data: We may use basic analytics tools that collect anonymous data such as pages visited, time spent on the page, browser type, and general location (country-level only). This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • Contact form data: If you fill out our contact form and choose to submit it, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. We use this only to reply to your message.
  • Technical data: When your browser loads our page, standard server log information may be recorded, such as your IP address and the date and time of your visit. This is standard practice for any website.

We do not collect financial information, health information, or any other sensitive personal data.

2. Your Files — Browser-Based Processing

✅ Your image files are NEVER uploaded to our servers. All processing happens 100% inside your browser.

This is the most important thing to understand about how Merger JPG works. When you add photos to the tool, those photos are loaded directly from your device into your browser’s memory using the standard browser File API. The merging process is done entirely using the HTML5 Canvas API — a technology built into your browser.

The result (your merged image) is also created inside your browser and saved directly to your device when you click download. At no point does any image file travel to any external computer, server, or cloud service operated by us or anyone else.

This means:

  • We never see your photos
  • We never store your photos
  • We cannot share or sell your photos
  • Your photos remain completely private on your own device
  • The tool works even if you disconnect from the internet after the page loads

3. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies or similar technologies for basic website functionality and to understand how visitors use our site. These are small text files stored in your browser. They help us understand things like which pages are most visited so we can improve the site.

We do not use cookies to track you across other websites, show you targeted ads, or build a profile of your personal behavior. We use only first-party analytics tools or privacy-respecting third-party analytics that comply with applicable privacy laws.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to use the Merger JPG tool itself, since the tool does not depend on cookies to function.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use a small number of trusted third-party services to help run our website. These may include:

  • Web hosting providers: Serve the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files that make up this website.
  • Analytics providers: Collect anonymous, aggregated data about how people use the site so we can improve it.
  • Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google’s servers so the site looks its best. This means your browser sends a request to Google when loading the page. Google’s privacy policy governs that interaction.

None of these third-party services ever receive your image files, because those files never leave your device.

5. Data Retention

Because we do not receive or store your image files, there is nothing related to your photos for us to retain or delete.

For contact form submissions, we retain your name, email, and message long enough to respond to your inquiry and follow up if needed. We do not keep contact records for more than 12 months, and we never add you to any marketing mailing list without your explicit permission.

Anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months to help us understand long-term usage trends, after which it is deleted or anonymized further.

6. Children’s Privacy

Merger JPG is a general-purpose tool intended for users of all ages. However, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your country).

Because our tool does not require any account creation or login, and does not ask for personal information to function, it is safe for children to use the core image-merging feature. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our contact form, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights related to your personal data. These may include the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request that we correct inaccurate personal data
  • Request that we delete your personal data
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data
  • Request a portable copy of your data

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in the Contact section below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. Because we collect minimal data, most data deletion requests can be fulfilled quickly and completely.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in how the website works, changes in the law, or for other operational reasons. When we make significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this policy occasionally. Continued use of Merger JPG after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
